Co-Founder, PresidentDr. Xianghong is a professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas with over 10 years of research & development experience in biomass conversion. She is co-inventor of the technology. She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from George Washington University and worked in industry and at the National Renewable Laboratory (NREL) before entering academia. She was the Principal Investigator of three previous NSF-funded projects on lignocellulosic biomass conversion using complementary experimental and computational tools. Dr. Xianghong served an instrumental role guiding the early technical research and development of the underlying science governing the catalytic membrane technology.
